Heath Ledger

This is sudden. And sad.
And Mark just walked by and asked if I had a crush on Heath Ledger. Nope. In fact I think this might be the only movie I've ever seen him in. {I really did like the movie - A must see; modern music, dancing and an amazing wardrobe for his love interest - a female.} He was young and left a daughter behind. His alleged drug problem is to blame, allegedly.
Pathetic and SAD.

So sad. My favorite movie of his is "10 things I hate about you". And who doesn't love "The Patriot"? He was just cute. So sad.

I have blogged my brains out today. I think this is the 2nd time I have stopped by your page. K Aim, time to quite.

Aimee, I want you to know I was on your blog earlier and I had a lengthy comment about how it's very chic to not have a middle name and how I love sour cherries too. But then I noticed that I needed your email to send my comment, and I couln't remember it offhand. When I went to get it, my comment was erased and then I was pulled away by crying children. I will plan ahead next time. I enjoyed reading your post.

Seriously. Sad. When celebrities die, it makes me sadder than it probably should. But basically when anyone dies before their time it is a shocking and horrible thing.

I just watched CNN on his recent death (because apparently, I DO have a crush on him - Mark!). One thing that they said in the news is that his death does not have any indication of suicide. Apparently, his role as "The Joker" in the sequel to Batman Returns really took a toll on his ability to sleep (I think playing a psychopathic, mass murderer might do that to you). He was only getting 2 hours of sleep a night and was taking Ambien to help him sleep although it only helped him sleep for an hour. I guess he overdosed on sleeping pills. I get the feeling that he went a little crazy with not being able to sleep. Anyway, I feel so bad! We'll never know what really happened but it makes me so sad. Watching the new Batman will be weird . . . however, I'm REALLY excited. I feel horrible for saying that.

Yes, I feel bad for him too. From what I've heard, he has been substance-abuse free for a year. Minus the sleeping pills, of course. And maybe those were legit, like you said Liz. But apparantly yesterday, at whatever dosage, they took their toll. Very very sad.

Who am I kidding? Hollywood is a messed up place.

It really is sad, sounds like he was a bit of a tortured soul, I feel mostly bad for his little girl.

The comment showed up. So I'm not sure what happened. I, for one, am glad that you know the joy of sour cherry balls. They are great.
