That extra day in February helps with my time management problem

Here it is, not even March, and I've finished Baby Conner's quilt! Conner, whom I have not met, was born in December to my good friends, Keith and Stephanie, whom I do not see nearly enough.

K and S are amazing people; the kind that will take you out on their sea-doos, feed you dinner anytime, let you stop by un-announced just to chat, take you to Prescott for the weekend, invite you to family events galore, splurge for your mother's day pedicure, not care if you fall asleep on their couch while watching a movie & make the loveliest of wedding cakes when you get hitched again.
Conner is a lucky boy! {As are his 4 older brothers.}

The fabric is from the American Jane Building Blocks line for Moda.

I love it! They are nice people. I had fun with the sea-doos.

I am having my mom make me a quilt right now and have used a lot of the same fabrics. Now I am even more excited to see her finished products.

Love all of your quilts.

Melissa,
Maybe someday we could get together and swap lessons. Your cookies/cake decorating for my quilting.

Courtney,
Post your mom's quilt on your blog when it's done. It'd be fun to see the same fabrics in another pattern. I'd really love to see it!

I love it! So cute, I eye that fabric every time I see it, I'm loving the orange and lime green combo. You're the best friend to have when it comes to having babies, do people realize the time that goes into those quilts?

The quilt is SOOOO adorable Sarah. I'm not sure that I deserve another of your precious quilts. I know it takes so much time to make. THANK YOU again!!!

Keith and I really enjoyed it when we were able to hang out so much with you and the girls a few years back, and also with Mark. We wish we all lived closer together!
