green softie

I wasn't going to post this yet, but I've had it done for quite some time and I'm in a blogging schlump. This is for the baby of a friend whose shower I missed last month. She has not seen it yet. Is that bad form? Sometimes I post gifts to friends/family when I know they will absolutely not be peeking in on my blog. But this one is if-y. I will not say who it is for. How's that for keeping it a secret. The green fabric is new Heather Bailey {LOVE LOVE LOVE HER}. The binding is Joel Dewberry. {ALSO LOVE} I hope you enjoy this softie, mystery recipient. I'll get it wrapped and over to you soon!

So cozy! If I told you I was going to have a baby and it would be born large enough to fit a queen-size bed would you make one tripple sized for me? Ok, I'm just wanting one of these for myself. I actually feel tempted to snuggle with the one I already received from you, but I think all my kids will attack me.

I forgot to mention that I am still saving it for my next little girl who will be born...one day.

The same exact reason I haven't posted a picture of the quilt for my sister in law!! I'm seeing her this weekend, so I'll finally be able to show off the first quilt I've 'completed' in over a year!

I think even grown-ups need softies.

So Cute! I like how you did the different binding, and how it's quilted!
