red + green: not just for Christmas anymore

My friend Ashleigh is having a baby girl very soon. Her baby loves bright colors. And florals. I hope.
*Fabric is from Heather Bailey's Pop Garden line.

  2. Orange you Glad.. . we're "green" with envy! (sorry, couldn't resist). Of course the baby loves bright colors and florals as they are simply irresistible. Nice legs, too.

  3. I was just going to try to email you and ask you where you get your darling fabric?!! I have had the hardest time finding a great quilt/fabric shop here. They were everywhere in Utah, Kentucky, and even Wisconsin!! HELP!! Oh, and we need to go out again soon. Tell Mark to call Paul and set it up!

  4. Kara,
    Zoe's trunk in Chandler is great. I buy most everything online though. reprodepot.com, fatquartershop.com, hancocks-paducah.com, equilter.com, fabric.com, purlsoho.com, i could go on and on.com.

I need a cool hobby. Maybe you could give me lessons...problem is, I don't have your innate good taste.

  12. jen,
do you really need something new to do? Are the 5, almost 6, kids not keeping you busy enough?

    And thank you.

  15. I was looking at all of the blog posts I've bookmarked in the last few months and came across this one. I got a bit excited because I used several of these fabrics on my quilt that I have yet to see.

I have a question for you. These fabrics can get to be very expensive, which kind of makes it difficult for me to justify making more quilts. Do you know of anywhere I might find these awesome designer fabrics at a discount?

  16. Anne,
I wish there was a great discount source for these fun fabrics. There are certain sites I visit regularly, and sometimes, when the fabric is out of production, they go on sale. The best source for comparing prices is www.quiltshops.com. It pulls up many different quilt shops and you can search by fabric line. Multiple stores will come up and everything they have from that line will be pictured.

    Hope that helps.
