My friend, and dedicated primary secretary, Heidi, is about to have her first baby. I'm so excited for her! Today I delivered this quilt and got to see Stella's nursery: Brown and pink with touches of aqua and lime green. It's darling. Heidi did tell me the color info, but I had never actually seen the room until today. I think this quilt fits right in.
And the new mommy is a bigtime scrapbooker, so the scissors print is sorta perfect.

Oh I love this prob. one of my favorites. I am sure Heidi loved. Nice work!
Adorable as usual babe!
PS Was shopping the other day and found something I just had to buy you! I can't ship it and I don't know if I'll be coming any time soon, are you coming up soon?
Lindsay,
Hmmm...You've got my attention. We will be up in July. I'll email you.
Bravo, again!
Encore! Encore!
Sarah, I love that quilt! The colors and patterns are so cool.
Sarah, you have a real gift for colors. I love olive green and the cooler light blue together. Then throw in a little pink and brown. Genius!
I love these colors and love the scissors. You do amazing work girl.
Sarah, how do you have time to make all the quilts that you do? I'm lucky if I finish 2 a year. This one is beautiful!
Amy,
They are small. And if there's a choice between doing the dishes and quilting, I choose quilting.
Ooooo.... AAhhhhh.... I bet Heidi about fell over backward!
So cute! You are way too talented for one person! :)
It is absolutely perfect. I love it so much...I even took it in and showed my friends at work. Thanks again!
I was at Heidi's today and saw the quilt! It looks amazing on the blog, and I couldn't believe it looked even more amazing in person! I love it! Stella is one lucky baby!
I have never seen your dishes not done.
I just won a charm pack and this is almost exactly like the pattern I had in mind to use it! Great colour combo.
Hi Sarah!
I'm a newbie at sewing AND quilting. I came across your blog from pinterest and I'm in LOVE with your work. Thank you for being such an inspiration.
Is there a pattern for this quilt and also the one from your 'Simon Says' post? Please let me know. Thank you again!
Chrislynn
Chrislynn,
Thanks so much!
I did not use an actual pattern on this one. But I got the idea from one of Camille Roskelley's patterns: http://thimbleblossoms.bigcartel.com/product/a-piece-of-cake-pdf-pattern.
I also did not use a pattern for the Simon Says quilt, but its pretty basic: I think I cut 6 (or 8) inch squares, and 3 inch strips.
Good luck!
