purple dresses
I love these Easter dresses my mom made for us 32 years ago. I vividly remember being so excited about the matching purses she made too. Whatever happened to those dresses? I wish we still had them. This was an ambitious undertaking in my book.
My memories from this age are spotty. It seems like my 4 year old will certainly remember everything about his life right now, when he is my age. But maybe not. How sad.

Mom is foxy!
what's crazy is that your mom used to be younger than i am right now. it's so strange to come to terms with the fact that our moms were "young, clueless, struggling mothers" just like us.
you're all foxy.
This is among my most favorite photos ever.
I live 30 minutes from Kennewick, WA! :) Awesome!
1977, my mom had the same haircut, and probably that same pattern. We lived in Idaho, and poor photo quality may be why my memories are plain and colorless.
That's such a cute picture of you guys, I love the dresses!
marci,
are you in the tri-cities? or some other town? small world! i loved growing up in kennewick!
marci,
connell, i got it.
Love this! Little ones = adorable and mom is certainly fetching. 28 sounds so young!
Hey, I still have the same haircut. I love that photo, too. Thanks for posting, Sarah. Those dresses are soooo 70's.
the dresses are amazing. what are they made out of? looks like a scratchy crepe.
Emz,
I remember it being soft cottony fabric. Maybe the old scratchy photo makes the fabric look scratchy too.
soft cotton. lavendar floral.
All three of you girls look so darling!
