bubbles are a lot of work

old school bubble blowing

bubble blowing turned up a notch: last weekend my kids discovered the air conditioning unit could do all the work for them.  quadruple the bubbles, with minimal effort.  they went through all the old bottles we've had forever, in just a few minutes.  thank goodness.  i have to admit, it looked really cool, but generally, i'm not a huge bubbles fan.

I hate bubbles. Messy, messy, messy stuff. I secretly throw ours out while the kids are sleeping.

Smart kids! Not to mention adorable. Careful, though, because the Academy of Pediatrics will probably come out with a statement soon that air-conditioning-unit-bubble-blowing is contributing to Type 2 diabetes or something. (Your kids look like they're really at risk.) Glad I'm not the only anti-bubble mom--always weighing the mess vs. keeping my kids busy for ten minutes. :)

Great idea! Funny I just spent $10 on one of those bubble machines so that my kids could have bubble with out giving them the opportunity to spill the sticky stuff. I should have just poured it on the units!

So smart! (BTW, sign me up for the "Bubble Scrooge Club". I used to throw them out when the kids would get them from birthday parties. One container in the carpet is enough to ruin you for them!)

That is so cool! I LOVE it! We will try it ourselves. Sure beats those bubble guns that break all too quickly!!
