I just looked at the movies of 2010 list and realized I only saw three of them, including Netflix rentals.
Inception*
The Karate Kid 2010
Toy Story 3
One more that looks good to me:
Secretariat
I feel good about this list. I don't think I missed much.
*Good idea, but I did not enjoy.

I feel that way about movies more and more. And I must say I tried to talk my daughters into seeing Secretariat with me this week at the dollars. They were not having it: "Sorry, I'm just not that into housewives and horses." Ha!
Sarah, we have the same movie schedule. :) I only got to see half of toy story 3 because I brought my 18 month old. But I, like you, don't think I missed much and I, like you, want to see Secretariat. I didn't even go see Harry Potter.
Harry Potter and Get Low were the best movies of the year for me. i think you'd really like Get Low! and Toy Story- i like it, but i don't really get the obsession people have.
totally agree with you about movies in general and INCEPTION; thought it was a very creative movie, but i didn't get into it. outside of kids' movies, there are very few movies i love. next on my list (to be disappointed with): ramona and beezus.
our whole family LOVED secretariat. maybe it had something to do with the fact that we lived in kentucky for four years, but even the 4 year old like it!!
we are really bad at movies us parents would like. we've only seen the kid ones, and very few are worth the movie theater price.
I didn't like Inception either.
