decade of fun

Jonah turned 10 this week!  He was thrilled with his gifts.
So was his younger brother. "More. Bootball."
Here he is reading the poem that directed him to find his final present.
It happened to be the "coolest bmx bike ever!" And sheesh, it's about time.  He's been riding a little red beach cruiser since he was four. Mark will never let me live that purchase down.
It was a day of favorites for Jonah:  Nana and Papa came over. I made oreo ice cream cake.  We swam. We cranked up Just Dance 2. We ate Costa Vida take-out.
At the end of the day, Jonah asked if he could have the exact same birthday next year.
We love Jonah.

that dancing photo is like awesome in every way.

Jonah, he is getting too big and handsome. in our house we still utilize the phrase, "tanks awot, mowwy!" in his honor.

Jonah is big and handsome, indeed! And he's such a nice young man! It was wonderful to spend the day with him and his family.
As for the dancing photo-Molly looks like a fabulous dancer. What on earth is that expression on my face?
Ha! That's a funny Jonah phrase, Abby.

I love this! Especially the photo of Mark on the bike. Maybe you should gently break it to him that he's just too old. But as for Amye: you go, girl! Cute as ever.

And Jonah IS handsome. I mean, awesome (Ethan gets really mad when I use the "h" word to describe him). Sounds like a perfect bday. What a cute boy!
