my latest pile

I have five quilts in my to-do pile. The bottom one may never be completed because it's been in that pile for over 3 years. It was originally meant as a gift for a friend (I made something else instead). Despite its cute fabric, I pieced some mismatched minky for the back, and it looks a bit odd. I can't bring myself to waste the time binding it, but I don't want to toss it since I already spent some time quilting it.

The other 4, I am sooooo excited about. Excited to give them to their rightful baby owners.  Excited about the fabrics. Excited to be done with the straight line quilting of the one on top and how much I love that look.

One by one, I will post. Soon.

Do you ever teach? I would love to feel more comfortable with machine quilting...your work is always so beautiful! I've just been winging it picking up tips here and there...

Kristen,
I would be embarrassed to give it to someone. It's that bad.

Heather,
I would love to teach someday, when I have some spare time. And maybe after I take a few classes myself. Thanks for the interest.

Those look lovely! I'm thrilled with the fabric I've been getting online. Thanks for the tip. I made a lap quilt last week that turned out very nice. Some people viewing the present opening asked if I got it at Walmart. Grrr.

If I can't have babies anymore...how do we get in the drawing for one of those? I can't believe that anything you touch could look bad...ever.

You are crazy talented. Just crazy. How you quilt w/twin toddlers is beyond me. And I'm with "gray family"--just b/c I have no more babies, why should I be deprived of Sarah's Quilts? Would you consider sending me one for my half-birthday??

You should just finish the one on the bottom and use it as a park/soccer game/whatever blanket. Can't wait to see the rest :-) Your fabrics are beautiful! Love that Nicey Jane!
