sleep is not to be sacrificed for shopping

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I hope you spent time with family.
I hope you got in a little Just Dance.
I hope you slept in the next morning.
I hope you ignored all black friday shopping (except for online, in your pajamas).
 That's what I did.

I agree with you that sleep should always win out! Especially when you have young kids. I did black Friday once and that proved to be one too many times. :)

I did every one of those things, too. I didn't get out of my PJs until almost noon today. Your table is/was beautiful! Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.

Did you shop at Anthropologie and have your order canceled later in the day, like Steve did?

Gorgeous table! Love the chairs. Your house looks lovely. And for the record, I am the only female in my family who has always, always refused to do Black Friday. The deals aren't that great, and they usually all run until Christmas anyway. I think I was looked down on by my sisters all these years, but now that you've announced your position, I finally feel validated. Thank you, Sarah. Thank you.
