My sewing machine is (still) on the fritz. It sews straight lines, but forget about freehand quilting. tension. tension. tension. And I don't just mean the tightness of stitches. agh!
So while I currently cannot finish a few quilts waiting in the wings, I
can work on this one that I am really excited about: gray and white and lots of piecing. More photos to come.
It's for a friend's baby, but I might just make a duplicate for my own boys too.
This photo was taken after I asked the boys to put their arms around each other for a picture. I think George made a good effort here.
