stripes

My nephew, Ben, is getting married to a lovely girl - Jamie, who we all love. I attended a fun bridal shower for her at one of my favorite restaurants, Tia Rosa's. And I gifted her this quilt.
I pumped it out in 4 days. I always forget how much work it is to quilt something bigger than a baby quilt. It gives my arms a good workout.
I got the idea from a quilt I love on etsy.
The back is gray flannel with green and aqua cottons.
Now that I've made this one, I want to make more. I'm loving these colors.

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for acknowledging my quilt design in your blog. It's tricky, copyrighting in this age of the internet so your candidness is reassuring. And the quilt you made is lovely.

Best,
Barbara Perrino

That quilt is gorgeous! When on earth do you have time to quilt as much as you do?

I love it, Sarah! Such a generous gift. Is Ben Diane's son?

Barbara,
I love every single one of your quilts. You are so talented. Thanks for stopping by!

Amye,
I'm pretty good with a deadline. Everything else falls by the wayside though.

Emily,
Thanks. And yes, Ben is Diane's.

Susan,
I'm with you - good colors make all the difference.

I've "eyed" that quilt on etsy, too. I love your interpretation of it - - not so wonky. The colors are great. And bravo on getting it done so quickly!
