I just finished this baby quilt for the auction at the school fall festival. 4 other quilt tops are sitting at my sewing machine, begging for attention. But they don't have October deadlines. Those 4 deadlines have long since passed, as the recipients are pretty much no longer babies anymore. Including my own. Whatev.
I hope people bid on it. If they don't, I'll be bidding on my own quilt. That'll be most embarrassing.
I really have a thing for typography.

I would totally bid on your quilt! I don't think you'll have a problem there. But I understand wanting to bid on it yourself. I'm the same way. Like when I go to cooking group, I usually end up just wanting to eat more of what I brought, because I like it. Duh, that's why I brought it!
p.s. When I first started typing my comment, Emily's wasn't there, and now it looks like I copied her! No, we're just clearly related, and totally like the word totally.
absolutely love it. pretty much guaranteed there will be a fight in the parking lot over this quilt after the auction is over (like there was at our school over a quilt for auction).

Okay, this definitely my favorite quilt that I've seen on your blog, ever. I absolutely love it. I would buy it in a minute if I could. Sarah, how do you do it? Taking care of twin babies AND quilting like this? I'll bet you get tired of people asking you that question, but we really want to know. How much you can accomplish with six kids almost crosses over from impressive to weird. :)

Sarah, it was so fun to meet you the other night. And I must say, WOW, you are very talented! And I agree with the other commenter, how in the world can you quilt with six kids and twins!? When I saw your family picture I had to double count because I would have never guessed you had that many kids (too young, too in shape ;) Anyway, thanks for saying hi!
