The Gilbert temple is coming along nicely, as far as I can tell.
This is the south side.I got caught behind a tractor, going 10 mph, which gave me a safe opportunity to snap some photos while driving.
This is the Northwest corner. Pretty cool that it's so close to the intersection, and visible from the freeway. This will actually be the backside of the temple.

It's gorgeous! I've always wanted to see a temple built, so I'm living through your pictures! Thank you for sharing, it's awesome to see it come together!
You'll have to tell us as soon as you know open house dates, so we can try to come.
Love your temple posts!
It is so fun to see it going up piece by piece. You're gonna love looking back at those pictures when the "new" temple isn't so new anymore...and neither are we. :)
First, I have to say I love your blog! Love all the cute quilts you make & your fantastic home style.
Second, THANK YOU for sharing these amazing pictures. We used to live in Gilbert, and would stop and show our kids the future site of the temple. Now they can see the progress for themselves even though we are all the way in Utah now. I'm gonna go grab them right now and show them.
Thanks again!
thanks for keeping us updated on the progress!
Ooh! So fun to see. I visited Gilbert once, to see a friend. It was a nice place, and I was stunned that it was still 90 degrees at night. Phew!
(So I think your Abby's sister, right? And I just saw that Kathleen commented on this post, she is my first cousin!)
Anyway, thank you for posting photos! My husband is from Gilbert and I'm from Snowflake and it is so fun to see it coming along. I can't wait to be back this summer and see it in real life!
