We were in Utah last month and loved {almost} every minute of it.
The driving part, not so much.
Our adventures included ... Making a pit stop at Glen Canyon Dam.
Passing through Southern Utah.
Riding the Park City Alpine Slides.
Riding the merry-go-round with Nana.
Waiting in the 45 minute line for the roller coaster at Park City. Ugh.
Enjoying my newly-shorter hair. Five inches gone.
Playing with cousins at the family Reunion in Heber City, Utah
Waiting for shakes at Granny's Drive In: A MUST in Heber
Lunching at Sundance and sending the older kids on a hike with my siblings and parents while Hank and George took a nap.
Celebrating Grace's birthday at Bruges Waffles and Frites with lots of cousins. This was after we all went to see Brave. Wasn't really impressed with the movie. Loved the waffles, of course: A MUST in downtown SLC.
Choosing candles for the birthday cake, made by the birthday girl at Grandpa's house.
Holding the chickens, oh so gently, at Aunt Abby's house.
And all according to my phone.

LOVE your haircut! We are going to the cabin this weekend, we feel well-traveled too. :)
I see those fries and waffles have you hooked also :) Love the hair!
I'm writing down your suggestions.
We're lounging around Park City for the month and we're def gonna need to try out some of those food suggestions cause this mom is tired of cooking already. :)
Your trip looks lovely and exciting.
Love your hair! Looks like you are having fun. How did you put text in between pics while blogging from your phone? My pictures just show up at the bottom.
Kate,
I just posted when we got home. I don't if you can add text in between photos on the phone.
You take great pics, and it looks like your family had a great time, it's hard to keep road trips exciting!

Love the hair!!
A bazillion questions: OK, where in Heber do you guys stay for reunion? I am in charge of finding our next location next summer. I guess that is all for questions. :) ha! Great post! We are going to Utah in a couple weeks and I am totally doing Granny's, Waffles, and Alpine slide. I don't know anything about this roller coaster, but not loving the sound of the line.
Jen,
We stayed in a huge vacation home - my sister found it on a Heber rental website. The Alpine Slides we like are at the Park City Mountain Resort. They have the slides that even the little kids can go on (with an adult) and there's also a roller coaster, zipline, and lots of little kiddie rides at the base. That's where we always go. There are some other slides at the Olympic park lifts too, but we've never been there.
Don't forget the wonderful meal we ate at Tarahumara in Midway. They have a very large salsa bar and the place is kid-friendly. I love your photos, Sarah. We had such a great time together!
