chairway to heaven

We* desperately** need*** some new living room chairs. These are my favorites from Room and Board. They are a bit steep, especially since we need*** two. And while I have seen similar shapes at less expensive stores, the fabrics are never as pretty, or the quality is likely not great. The best part is these chairs can be made with any of R&B's extensive fabric collection. But I am quite pleased that they come stocked and ready to go in the above fabrics. The Seymour chair also comes stocked in Million Spa which is a bluish version of the smoke above. Love love love.

*I use this term loosely. It could also mean "I."
**On a good day, husband would say "maybe" and "sort of"
***pine and yearn for

I have kept my eye out for the chairs to go with my perfect couchfor 7 years. I finally found them in July at a store in Laguna Beach I had never been to and was so excited until I saw the $1800 price tag. Just tell your hubby it could be much worse. These chairs are rather economical.

So did you end up buying the chair(s)? That's quite an investment. When you buy something like that you hope you love it forever!

I really love the top two. We all know Mark feigns disinterest but is really pining and yearning for those chairs too.

Yes. Feigning disinterest, while secretly searching the internet for living room chairs. I think you're on to something.

My favorite is the Grace (top). It would be hard to choose the fabrics because its shape would make almost anything look good.

Oooo, me likey. Although, I am opposed to you getting any other beautiful, stylish furniture to make your home even more beautiful and stylish. However I have to say that my favorite is #1.

That sounded weird but I meant it as a compliment. :)

I'm loving the fabric on the bottom one. And your softie is really cute too, I don't know which way to spell it, maybe you could call it a wooby?

Great chairs! Such graceful shapes and fun fabrics to boot. And Thanks for the Amy Butler update. I'm sure you'll make some winning quilts with those :)

Didn't by the chairs. Michael bought his car for less than one of those chairs, so right now it really isn't in the budget.

But I still think about them.

Pepper, I feel your pain.
