Today is my sister
Abby's birthday. She is celebrating in NYC with much of my family. LUCKY!!!!!! (my
sister-in-law's sister, who is also Abby's childhood
friend, is getting married there)
Have a great day Abby!
And Congrats Eliza and Jon!
*10 points if you can name everyone pictured and you are not a member of my family.

OH MY COW!! (Sorry, everyone, but for embarrassing reasons, this is the only phrase that suits.)
Sarah, I cannot believe you have this picture, and have the utter audacity to PUBLISH it without my consent. Sure, I'll meet your challenge: (from L to R)Ryan, Abby, Jenny C., Sarahbelle, Jaimy (annoyinglittlesistercrampingourstyle#1) and Emily (annoyinglittlesistercrampingourstyle#2)
This pic is way too much. I have abnormally clear memories of this trip, which I believe we covered in a previous email this year, but would be happy to rehash per your request. Just one question: was this photo taken before or after our "blazing campfire" and the old women who were so ticked at us for taking long showers? And where's your sense of adventure, Jaimy and Emily?
Abby was gorgeous (still is.) I could post forever on this photo and trip, but will only say THANK YOU to Amye, who was a saint to put up with Jaimy and I (and the fighting that followed) on that family trip (although I do NOT forgive her for the death trap she called Multnomah Falls...)
I love your family!

10 points JEN! And 5 bonus points for remembering the details of our trip to Cannon Beach. I LOVE IT!
Jen, I thought I meant more to you than that. . .
Way to hike Multnomah Falls barefoot. (That happened, right?)
Yeah, Emily, it totally happened--remember the ungated scaffold at the top that spilled over the mile-high falls?? Your parents oohed and ahhed while all of us kids wet our pants.
Emily, you really were a kindred spirit of sorts--remember how we always wanted to be left alone to read? Loved it.
And you and Jaim, I have to admit, look adorable in this photo. Man, we were cute kids!

I know you're lying because I look anything but cute in this photo!
I love how you remember things so well.
No doifeee, Ralph.
Thanks Sar! So sweet. I had a wonderful birthday at the most beautiful wedding ever.
I've never seen this picture! Funny. Mom always says I was the best-dressed baby, but every picture seems to refute that. This one included.
You were wearing my shirt.
too cute, I knew you, Ryan, Abby and Emily, have to confess Sarah I thought you were a boy at first glance! Happy Birthday Abby!
I'm amazed with your recall of details, Jennie! I'm remembering now what a fun trip that was!
As for Abby and her birthday, it was a fabulous time in the Big Apple. More on that later. AG
Nancy, you hit the nail right on.
Sarah, I take it back. That shirt is amazing.
