April: anniversary
May: mothers day
May: my birthday
Needless to say, Mark gets a little anxious when this high pressure gifting season rolls around. I always tell him I'm easy to buy for: A nice card, or flowers, or something cute you came across at Anthropologie or Forever 21. No sweat. Apparently it's not that easy. So every year he asks for a list. Whatever I can do to ease your pain, my dear.

I am a big fan of the anthro mirror. Please tell Mark I would like one of those, too.
tell mark i have been wanting those lori's pumps FOREVER. and i totally got that keep calm print for eliza + jon and it is cute! woops, i haven't sent it to them yet.
Emily, I remember when we were at Anthro in SLC and you spotted the mirror. Good taste. Why doesn't that thing go on sale already?
Abby, what color did you get? I can't decide between the yellow and this teal-ish one. Chances are I will be buying this for myself. Do you know any men who shop on etsy?
I'll jump in here for Abby. She got the yellow one. I love how it looks in the frame.
Sarah that Mother's Day/Birthday wish list is oozing with such appeal that I could just copy and paste the entire thing right into my own little wish list! Please showcase the results of such straight forward, direct communication at the end of May :)
Easy ladies. There will be no posting of results at the end of May or doling out of free gifts to relatives, no matter how much I like them :) As for now I'm leaning towards the ecomonical selections.
Mark
We'll see...
I love that Mark's a closet blog lurker. Mark, you always do a fine job in the gift-giving arena, even if it is only for your wife and not for your sisters-in-law. No need to stress.
Mark, I am kind of expecting a comment on my blog.
Does he actually stick to the list? I gave up and started purchasing my own gifts, that way I get what I want. I know, Emily thinks I'm crazy. But this way we are all happy. Trust me, I've had too many "oh, that's nice" gifts.
P.S. all I can say is, Wicked, GO, GO, GO, seriously, Go!
He almost always sticks to the list. I tell him one item is plenty, that he obviously should not buy EVERYTHING on the list. I purposely put some things on this list that I know he won't buy, but might give him some ideas of his own. I like surprises too.
Happy Birthday to you, too, Sarah. Which day is yours on? May seems to be a busy month for everyone. A wish list is a superb idea - I think I should try it, however Sterling wouldn't even know how to get onto our blog! :)
