Origami Christmas, etc.

Too frequently, the mail woman delivers small stacks of not-so-familiar catalogs to our mailbox. Have you ever heard of Viva Terra: Eco Living Style. Me neither. Until yesterday. I actually like some of their stuff.
I found these ceramic origami cranes (I would love to cover my whole tree with white origami)

I get way too many catalogs too!! One time I got 16 of the exact same copy of a Chico catalog!!! All with my name and address on them. The kids like to look through the toy ones and circle things though. :)

kara,
aren't those letters cool! i wish i could order just the ones i wanted, instead of the pre-determined word. either way, i like 'em.

Don't buy the cranes. I've been making them for years, beginning with the programs at church when I was a teen! :)

I agree with debbie . . . our year in Boston we had a kid's tree upstairs on the landing by a window (sigh . . . colonial homes . . .) which we decorated exclusively with origami stars and snowflakes and paper "balls". It was so cute. And you can make it elegant just by your choice of paper.
