for Jonah's first grade teacher's first baby

I cannot believe I finished this in time to give to Jonah's teacher, right before Christmas, and in the middle of so many other must-dos. Miracles do happen around here. I bought this fabric in July, in Cedar City (after watching a fabulous production of Fiddler on the Roof... and my tangent ends here) not associating it with Christmas at all. But it is rather festive, I must admit. Jonah's teacher is due to have her baby girl any day now, so I suppose it is very appropriate.

Fabric: Swell by Moda.

I am also proud to have a Sarah original circa 1999 or 2001 . . . I'll have to search my journal and see which baby it was for! I love following your blog.

Geez! do I need to have a baby to get one of these?! You have an amazing talent. I just love the colors of all of your quilts but this one in particular - must be the christmas spirit in me right now.

All of your quilts are quite lovely. In fact, it was you who has inspired me to try my hand at my own. I'm off to the quilt shops in Sugarhouse Utah today to pick out the fabric (and I think I'll try out the Yellow Brick Road pattern) for my first. Wish me luck! :)

Good luck Anne! Yellow Brick Road is a good one to start with. I still make it because it is so fun for me.

Jonah's teacher emailed me to say thanks and that the colors match their baby's room decor perfectly. Seriously? Wow.
