my crayon box family

i just posted links to my blogging family in my sidebar, something i've been meaning to do for a long time.  check 'em out.

sidenote: it's not as easy as it seems to have a large family photo taken and have everyone purposely not match, but just "go." i think we accomplished that goal in this photo. and actually, now that i am really looking at it, my yellow skirt is the awkward standout. but i still like it.

my family is awesome.

Please don't say anything negative about my favorite skirt. I am green with envy every time you wear it. It is darling! As far as I am concerned it is perfect for any picture.

I like this picture, too. All my favorite people in one place.

i really really love that skirt.

milo reminds me of pee-wee herman in this picture. which is not a bad thing, necessarily.

Several times a day I look at this very large picture that hangs above my piano and count my blessings!

Now that is a feat with all those people - good looking happy family. P.S. I love the skirt - doesn't stick out at all.

Sarah, I love your blog! I stumbled upon it while "surfing" and have been reading all of it! I just gave you an award on my website! :) Thanks for your inspiration!

I too stumbled upon your blog while reading your sister Abby's blog. It is so enjoyable. Also, I think your dad looks like Harry S. Truman (especially in the black & white photo below).

heather,
thanks for the award. i've never received a blogger award. you're very kind.
emily,
thanks for the nice words.
i've never considered my dad to be a truman look-a-like, but that's a nice compliment: distinguished, nice looking older man.

LOVE this! Everyone looks so great. We keep taking our family photo in our reunion T-shirts, I think we need a fancier more planned one like this.
