I get excited about paper products. And beautiful design. So I am very fond of ilee's {on etsy} gorgeous calendar. And each year is better than the one before. This (2009) year I am loving July, August, September + October. {It's going to be a nice 3rd/early 4th quarter.} And I'm giving February honorable mention because I am also fond of giraffes.

The first calendar I bought was $17. 2008's was $20. This year: $22. Doesn't ilee know we're in a recession?

January flew by.
February looks promising: I am excited to change the month on my letterpress calendar* {and just look at April, May, June,... - gorgeous!} Excited for the Hannah Montana 3-D movie TOMORROW. Excited for Disneyland - for two. Excited to see old friends. Excited for Owen's birthday. Excited for the changes our "special stake conference" will bring. Excited to teach Art Masterpiece in Grace's class. It's going to be a great 29 days!

*I bought this calendar from ilee on etsy. I bought one last year too. I didn't think it possible, but I love love this year even more.

Abby + Jamie also got us this timeless Stendig Calendar. I love it! I am so excited to put it up. I can't decide: Maybe it will go above my sewing machine, or maybe in our bedroom. Wherever it goes, it's a welcome and grand piece of pop-art. I'm on a hanging mission today...

FEBRUARY - O-boy is 1. Grandpa Bill visits.

MARCH - Plenty busy.

APRIL - 4 days in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Abby comes down to watch the kids.

MAY - Camping in northern AZ with the Lees and Skibas.

JUNE - UT for Chidester wedding. Rocky Point, Mexico with my WHOLE family.

JULY - Sedona with Craigs, DeWitts, and my Scholes cousins.

Braces.

AUGUST - Reunion lunch with longtime friends Irene and Angela.

Nielson Reunion at Bluewater, NM. Cardon beach house in La Jolla.

SEPTEMBER - Craigs move to UT.

OCTOBER - Fall break in UT. Hadley wedding in Lake Tahoe.

NOVEMBER- Cut my hair.

DECEMBER - Snow in Seattle for Nielson wedding.

It was a good year.
