Your birthday takes forever to get here, when you're almost 5.
Months before, you make a list of what you want. You give instructions to your family about how they should hide and then jump out and yell, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
You talk about turning 5, everyday!
You even make last minute changes to your list.
Your mom doesn't really know where to find an invisible cape or an underwater laser gun.
So she finds some other things she knows you will really love.
And it turns out, she is exactly right.
Turning 5 is worth the wait. And you couldn't be more pleased that all your planning paid off.
